Library Group Seeks to Expand and Offers a List of Writing Workshops
Not to confuse things, but there's another writing group in town, Metuchen Writers. By virture of the fact that they meet
at the public library, the group is open to the public. The writers meet the first and third Monday evenings, or thereabouts,
after e-mails are circulated to see if more than a few can make it. For information, or to be added to the mailing list, please
e-mail jwshaver@optonline.net.
Dale Leffler, an active member of that group, and a contributor to the 2006 edition of Metuchen Musings, wrote: "We are seeking
to gather more people (beyond Metuchen) who want a meeting where their work is given supportive feedback, compassionate encouragement
and communal respect for the creative process by fellow adult writers." He added that members and friends who would like
to share their ideas on how to improve attendance or contribute to this ongoing effort may contact him through e-mail at dleffler@optonline.net.
